LindenThe Perry County Neighborhood Service Center is Located on 106 Main Street, Linden, Tennessee  37096, and the hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.  There are a wide variety of services available for residents of Perry County.  Click on the links below to find out more about each program and the eligibility requirements:

Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, Emergency Food Assistance Program, Community Service Block Grant, Weatherizattion Assistance Program & Head Start / Early Head Start

What I need to know before going:

For most financial assistance, you will need to bring proof of household income to include any additional sources such as SSI, spouses income, etc.  For heating or cooling assistance, you will need to bring the latest copy of your electric bill.  For commodities distribution, you or your designated representative will need to bring the commodities card issued by this office.

                             Low Income Heating Energy Assistance

South Central Human Resource Agency is now taking applications for the Home Energy Assistance.  If your Household Income is within 200% of the Poverty Guidelines (click here for guidelines) you may receive assistance if funds are available.

  To Apply:   
  • Proof of current Household Income
 
  • Current Utility Bill(s) (Electric, Gas, Propane)
 
  • Social Security Numbers for all Household Members (required by Federal Law)
