The NoahCenter currently serves 16 children in the CoffeeCounty area.Children receive free medical and dental care, have healthy meals and snacks and enjoy playing indoors/outdoors in a safe setting.Services are also offered to meet the special needs of children with disabilities.Certified staff is on hand with unique teaching strategies that enhances children’s physical, social, emotional and cognitive development.
Volunteers are critical to the success of Head Start.The participation of volunteers has been an effective way of mobilizing community resources to strengthen Head Start services.Volunteers can assist with classroom activities, upkeep and renovation of centers, playground and other similar tasks.
Presently, our children are getting ready for the summer with numerous activities designed to both educate and entertain. We are currently taking applications for the 2010-2010 school year. For more information, contact Chariety Yarbrough or Pat Ray at (931) 394-2230.
