                             Low Income Heating Energy Assistance

South Central Human Resource Agency is now taking applications for the Home Energy Assistance.  If your Household Income is within 200% of the Poverty Guidelines (click here for guidelines) you may receive assistance if funds are available.

  To Apply:   
  • Proof of current Household Income
 
  • Current Utility Bill(s) (Electric, Gas, Propane)
 
  • Social Security Numbers for all Household Members (required by Federal Law)

The South Central Human Resource Agency will discontinue the service of providing Fingerprinting in our outlying service areas effective 30 June, 2008.  We will however continue the program at our Central Office location in Fayetteville every Monday and Thursday from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm beginning July 14th, 2008. 

If you require fingerprinting, you must first register with the State.  This can be accomplished by visiting the Cogent Fingerprinting Website.  Registration may also be completed by phoning 1-877-862-2425.  If you have additional questions, please contact Judy McLeod or Sharon Medley at (931) 433-7182 ext 152.
